Start a Ride
Your riders pick the music from their own phones.
How it works
- Start a ride and show your QR code.
- Riders scan and add songs. They don't need an app or an account.
- Everyone votes. The top-voted song plays next, from your phone.

The details
- Who hosts: the driver in a car, or a passenger on a bus or at a party.
- How the music plays: Spotify auto-play (beta, by request) plays songs on its own. Without it, someone taps Play and it opens in Apple Music or Spotify.
- What your account saves: your music app, blocked genres and past rides.

0 riders inEnding closes the queue for everyone.
Your phone never disconnects
RideJam is built around one non-negotiable rule: starting a ride never disconnects or reconnects your phone from your car's speakers. RideJam never touches Bluetooth or your car; it only sends songs to the music app you already use. Riders add and vote from their own phones. With auto-play, nobody touches your phone to change the music. Without it, hand Play to a passenger, not the driver.
There are no orders, bookings, or payments involved in starting or joining a ride — RideJam is a free way for your group to share the aux, nothing more.
